1+1 Program: Application and Admission

To be accepted into the 1+1 Program, high school students must meet the following requirements:

• Completed the 10 th, 11 th, or 12 th grade,
• Completed a minimum of 12 academic semester courses (or the equivalent in University of California a-g requirements)
• A minimum of 3.15 GPA in UC a-g requirements is required for admittance into the 1+1 Academic & Enrichment Program.

To complete the application process, you will need:

• an application form and the $75 non-refundable application fee payable to Summer Discovery.
• your official transcript
• a recommendation letter from a counselor, advisor, or dean at your school.
