2009 Fees (2010 fees will be listed soon)

The cost of the six-week Freshman Summer Start Program is $4,550* (non-California residents pay the same as California residents during FSSP). This includes up to 13 units of coursework, double-occupancy on-campus housing in San Nicolas Residence Hall (additional fee for single-occupancy), meals in the campus dining commons, and special program activities. The program fee does not include the cost of textbooks, course materials fees, Orientation Programs, or personal incidental expenses.

*Proposed pending approval and subject to change.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid will be available to eligible students. To apply, students must submit the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Note: This is different from the 20010-2011 FAFSA that students may have recently completed for the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters of the 2010-2011 academic year. The 2009-2010 FAFSA may be completed on the FAFSA website (www.fafsa.ed.gov) and should be done as soon as possible. Financial aid for qualified students may include loans to be repaid at a later date. Grants and scholarships are available to those who qualify. In Summer 2009, FSSP students received more than $495,000 in grants and loans.
