Grades & Credits
The Summer Research Mentorship Program is an interdisciplinary program. The 8 units of academic credit awarded will become part of your permanent record at UCSB.
Research Topics
Research topics may change each summer depending on the available mentors, however the focus is always on recent research developments that demonstrate the use of University-level Methods of Investigation in departments across campus. Over the past three years we have expanded the availability of research projects in the arts, humanities, languages, music, social sciences, and various interdisciplinary fields, while continuing to maintain a rich diversity of research projects in the various laboratory science and engineering fields. Please feel free to inquire about any discipline that interests you.
