2017 Fees and Housing Costs

  • $273 per course unit (same cost for residential, domestic non-residential and international students)

  • $476.08 for campus-based service fee

  • $300.00 program service fee (non-refundable; see cancellation policy below)

  • $25.00 non-refundable application fee

  • $2,831.00 Housing*

  • $2.50 per unit Tech Fee (Letters & Science courses only)

For example, students who take 9 units (the average number of units FSSP students enroll in) will pay $5936.29 to attend the program. International and out-of-state students pay the same as California residents during FSSP. This price includes the 9 units of coursework, triple-occupancy on-campus housing in a Residence Hall, meals in the campus dining commons, and special program activities. The program cost does not include textbooks, course and lab fees, Orientation Program, Student Health Insurance, or personal expenses.
*Housing fee is based on triple occupancy.

Financial Aid

Students accepted to the FSSP program are eligible for summer financial aid by filling out the 2016-2017 FAFSA as soon as possible, but no later than June 30th, 2017. Students will be awarded aid once their file is complete and all documents have been processed. Generally students are awarded in mid - July.
