Please scan your transcripts and send them to me via email. Think about enrolling in either Session A or B of Summer Sessions to complete a required art course (Artst 1A) that is traditionally full by the time you are able to register for Fall classes. This course cannot be taken through any Community College. Log onto www.assist.org to check articulation agreements with your school and UCSB.

BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES: EEMB / MCDB — Andrew Kroes/Mike Tucker
Follow these instructions to assist us in evaluating your previous coursework and guiding you to enroll in the courses you need.
  1. Obtain copies of the UNOFFICIAL transcripts from all previous colleges you attended. Note: Courses must have completed letter grades in order to serve as prerequisites for summer courses (we cannot process In-Progress Spring Courses).
  2. Obtain--Catalog descriptions and syllabi for all biology, chemistry, math, and physics courses completed at any non-California Community College.
  3. Mail or Email all the information above along with the items noted below: (You may also hand deliver the materials to the Biology Undergraduate Office.)

Include—

  • The phone number and address where you can be reached until school starts.
  • Your Name & UCSB perm #
  • The name of the full major you intend to pursue.

I'm happy to speak to you on the phone, but if you are out of town it's easier if you email me, so I can attach major sheets and sample schedules to be better at helping you understand which courses you should be taking.
