Apostolos N. Athanassakis, Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania, James and Sarah Argyropoulos Professor in Hellenic Studies, Department of Classics, UCSB. Areas of interest and Specialization - Classical linguistics, Greek poetry and Mythology. Professor Athanassakis is Director of the Summer
Sessions Greece Travel Study Program. He will teach Classics 36 - "Ancient Epic" and Classics 104 - "Seminar on the Poetry of Archaic Greece" in Ithaca.

Andronike Makres, Ph.D., University of Oxford, Professor, College Year in Athens. Areas of interest and Specialization - History and Epigraphy of Classical Athens. She will teach Classics 80A - "Greek Civilization" (emphasis on Athens and the Aegean) in Athens.

Theony Condos, Ph.D., University of Southern California. Areas of interest and Specialization - Modern Greek, Classical Studies. She will teach Classics 39 - "Women in Classical Literature" in Paros.

Yanoula Athanassakis, M.A., Ph.D. Candidate, University of California at Santa Barbara. Areas of interest and Specialization - Global Immigrant Narratives, Contemporary American Literature, Gender Studies, Postcolonial Literature, and Literary Criticism. She will teach English 10AC - "Introduction to Literary Study: U.S. Kosmo Narratives" in Paros.
