Steps to register for Summer Session
Step 1 —Submit your SIR
Step 2 —Submit the transfer student's Summer Registration Form in your admit packet, or use the online version.
Step 3 —Read the instructions on the email confirming receipt of your Registration form.
(We will tell you to 1. obtain a copy of your unofficial transcript(s) that show courses completed and courses in progress and 2. fax them to the advisor in your home department.)
Step 4 —Financial Aid... add UCSB's code - 001320 - to your 2007-08 FAFSA.
Step 5 —Set up your UCSB net ID. (Follow instructions in your admit packet.)
Step 6 —Get Advising for your courses.
(You will meet with your advisor on the Advising & Information Day sessions you selected on your summer registration form. If you cannot attend one of these sessions, then you must correspond with your advisor either by email or phone.)
Step 7 —Explore housing options. See Housing information.

Step 8 —Enroll in courses. (You can do this after your advisor reviews your transcript(s) and makes recommendations.)
