1 —Submit your SIR
2 —Set up your UCSB e-mail ("U-mail") account. You will create a NetID and password that you need to access the summer course enrollment system-GOLD.
3 —Submit the transfer student's Summer Registration Form in your admit packet, or use the online version of the Summer Registration Form.
4 —Read the email we will send to you confirming receipt of your Summer form and giving you instructions about contacting the advisor for your major.
5*—Attend a Spotlight-on-Summer information session to get the right advice on selecting summer courses, how to use the enrollment system, how to choose housing, how to set up your billing account, and why meeting with your advisor is necessary. See days and times on the Summer Information Day page.
6 —Enroll in courses. You can do this after you talk to or meet with your advisor who will review your transcript(s) and make recommendations.

8 —Need Housing? You can start to explore housing options on the Housing Information page.
