Education 197, offered at UCSB in Session B (August 3 – September 12) will prepare you for the demands and expectations of a highly selective, academically challenging research university, where

  You will benefit from the instruction of a senior faculty and graduate students at UCSB. You will experience a smaller and slower-paced classroom to get academic preparation that will help you excel in your classes at UCSB.
  
• You will be ready for Fall.
  
• You will receive 2 units toward your upper-division elective requirement.

Now that you have chosen to enroll in summer session, choose a course that provides you with the skills you need to get the full benefit of the outstanding education available at UCSB.

ENROLL NOW before time runs out.  The course starts in Session B.
You will attend a weekly LECTURE on  Tuesday, 2:00-3:30

You will also attend a weekly DISCUSSION SECTION on Wednesday. You choose the time:        
                  Wednesday, 12:30-1:50
                           OR
                  Wednesday, 2:00-3:20
TO ENROLL --

• You MUST be enrolled in at least one other Session B course
