Steps to Apply

  • Submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).

  • Activate your UCSBnetID and UCSB email account. To do so, sign in to the UCSB Identity Manager. To learn more about accessing your UCSB email account click here

  • Complete your 2020 – 2021 FAFSA by June 30, 2021 if you would like to be considered for financial aid for Transfer Edge. Note that the 2020 – 2021 FAFSA is needed in addition to your 2021 – 2022 FAFSA.

  • Submit your Transfer Edge online application. Please note that you will need to sign up for an account in order to complete a summer enrollment application.

  • $279 per-unit course fee (7 units min.)

  • $2.50 per-unit technology fee (only applicable to Letters & Science courses)

Fixed Costs

  • $495.45 campus-based fee

  • $25 non-refundable application fee

  • Apartment in Sierra Madre Villages: $1,200*

  • Summer Meal Plan: Varies based on selection
