COVID-19 Update: Remote Instruction during Summer Sessions

Due to the global COVID-19 outbreak, Summer Sessions 2020 will be offered remotely for all sessions. If you are an international student who is currently outside of the U.S., you do not need an I-20 document from UCSB in order to participate in Summer Sessions. To register for summer, submit your online application. If you are an international student who wishes to study at UCSB in Fall 2020 and you do not currently have an active UCSB I-20, please contact the Office of International Students & Scholars at oiss@sa.ucsb.edu

International Student Summer Enrollment Process:

Summer Sessions at UC Santa Barbara offers open enrollment to all qualified domestic and international university students. For international students, studying at UCSB requires a valid I-20 document and an F-1 visa. You must first obtain your Summer Sessions I-20 in order to apply for an F-1 visa through your local U.S. embassy or consulate. Click here for additional information on applying for a student visa. If you are requesting an I-20 document to attend Summer Sessions, please prepare the following documentation prior to starting your application.
