Extend your FSSP experience with Adventure Week!
Take your summer beyond the classroom with a week of outdoor exploration, local excursions, and socializing with peers. It’s a chance to discover more of Santa Barbara and try something new during the week between Summer and Fall.

Throughout the week, you can participate in exclusive Adventure Week activities, including:

Surfing and kayaking

Channel Islands day trip

Overnight camping

Beach days and hikes

Climbing gym

BBQ social

Movie, karaoke, and trivia nights

Santa Barbara landmarks

Local excursions (i.e., Santa Barbara Zoo, Farmers Market, museums)
Housing and Dining
During FSSP Adventure Week, you’ll conveniently stay in San Nicolas Residence Hall and participate in curated activities on campus and around Santa Barbara.
While campus dining halls are closed, one meal (either lunch or dinner) will be provided each day as part of the programming. You’ll receive details about meal options and the daily schedule before Adventure Week begins.

Eligibility & Registration
Open to 2026 FSSP participants. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Adventure Week registration steps will be communicated via email beginning in April, pending successful FSSP enrollment.
