UC Santa Barbara is excited to offer a housing incentive during Summer 2021, to support students who wish to leverage Summer Sessions to achieve their educational goals. This incentive credits eligible undergraduate students living in campus housing with up to $1000*! Additionally, in recognition of challenging circumstances around COVID-19, eligibility for the housing incentive in Summer 2021 has been expanded to include those who are living outside of university-owned housing. Eligible students may qualify for up to $500 in aid**. This incentive is intended to allow you to make the most of your summer by focusing on your coursework, knowing that you are living in free or substantially subsidized housing while you make progress toward your degree objectives.
